535 Bugout Variants

Are you making a distinction for coating types?

For instance the 535GRY-1 is now Cerakote, the earlier models were Chromium Nitride PVD.

Looks like you will need to add at least 3 to the Regular Production list.
535FE-05 (Crater Blue Grivory, S30v in FDE)
535BK-06 (Alpine Glow Grivory, S30v in Cobalt Black)
535BK-08 (Storm Gray Grivory, S30v in Cobalt Black)

Updated post #1 thank you. The colours remind me of George Carlin's skit on boy's names and what happened to normal names like Bobby and Joey, etc. What colour is "Alpine Glow"???

I didn't distinguish between the types of coating because I'm not always sure what they are but I have noted that the coating on GRY-1 has changed.

Obviously ignoring custom shop models, I've been surprised at the number of 535 variants that have come out so far. I pity the person wanting to collect them all as I suspect this list is just going to grow with time. I've not added the Dealers' names on the exclusives as I'm not sure all of them are supporting members here.

Anything I'm missing? Looking at the numbering convention, there might be an interesting 535xx-2102 coming? @Benchmade?
Cool list
I think it's kinda missing the point. The bugout was a cheap knife that was durable which you can just throw in a pack. Now they're decked out in like gold scales or something.

I bought the OG one on release and just sat and rolled my eyes for years. Keep it in my glove compartment.

Most would suggest the Bugout was never cheap. When introduced it was arguably fairly expensive for “plain ol’ boring” S30V and FRN scales. With the aftermarket guys doing very well out of Bugout scales, I think BM (and the vendors requesting exclusives) did the right thing to offer the basic version as well higher spec versions as the design works very well for both the initially intended lightweight “Bugout” and a more gentlemanly knife.

The scales were kydex.
