anyone ever flip one of these?

they are meant to be sharpening rods for serrated blades.

No since I don't have a 40T yet though I flip my Leatherman Wave in public. With it's heavy SS handles it flys like a dream. However I can't seem to get my LM sideclip to flip as well. Oh well life happens.:D

My girlfriend's parents have a combi wine/glass bottle openers, which I found pretty good flippers. Actually better than my current bali. Excactly the same prinsipe - the 'handles'* would move just like bali handles (180 degs on the blade). Very sweet.
My gf, however, thought I was pathetic when I had to flip everything. ;) ;)

* The 'handles' are really used to open the wine bottle. You screw the screw down into the cork, and then you push the 'handles' down, and the cork goes up! :D
In case you didn't understand it, the cork screw/combi glass bottle cap opener would work as the blade.
