Photos Anyone have the Victorinox Spirit? Mine came in with some scuffs, is that normal?

I purchased a brand new Spirit X but it has some mark on the scale like this. They are only visible when you shine the light and look close at it though. I wonder if yours was like this too? Of course it's not a big deal but I'm just curious if all the units are the similar.

It looks like they stonewashed it rather than mirror polished it. It looks like the same finish some of the newer Victorinox SAK's I've picked up had.

I have collected more than a dozen of Spirit, and though most people called it 'mirror' polish, but as StuntDouble said, they are more like "semi-stonewashed then mirror polished". If you really want them to "shine", a little flitz once in a while would do the magic.
