I like Connies :)

This is my current selection, plus one flint edge shown at the bottom that's in my shop at work, and a couple unhafted.

Muleman those are some gorgeous axes! Super nice that you work them too! What is the species of wood in the last photo? I can't make it out! Is it a big fir? A spruce?

After looking back thru the thread, I realized I have lost one or two and gained a few others and inspired by muleman77 and his proficient, professional use today of these beautiful axes...here are my humble Connie's that get their shared yet nominal use and a couple that dont.

Thanks for hanging in and looking at the Connie's in my collection that I have hung or rehung or the one Legitimus you see in there that still needs attention from the day I brought him home.

So many heads and so few handles and time :)

Beauty at Work... A Connie and Crosscut

Hope you are having fun out there and safe @Mulemann77

It's fire season. He's probably running supplies out to some back country fire line.

Stay safe, buddy.

Thanks for the kind words, you guys have it pretty well figured. Packing mules and falling hazard trees on fire, has been keeping me pretty busy. Nice mellow fires though, as it goes. Just getting started on extreme fire season here in all reality.
