This should make anyone thinking they spent too much money on knives in 05 feel better, or at the least not feel so alone. I don't even want to add this up for fear it will make me sick. Needless to say my wife thinks I need help. I seriously doubt this is all of them. I may need to edit later to add some I forgot about. :D

This is the damages for just the newer models I bought or traded for all year. It doesn't include the junk store finds and misc old time knives I picked up.

What are your damages? Come on. Make me feel better.

STR I think you need help. Seriously.

Are you wicked rich or something or do you just live paycheck to paycheck buying knives?

No, I just worked my a$$ off when I was young and now play hard.

Not all those were purchased. It is in fact decieving. Some of the those bought earlier in the year were later traded for others that are also in the list. The list is just a compilation of all the knives that came into my possession in 05. (that I can recall) It isn't like I still have each and every one of them now in my possession.

Obviously I live for cutlery. Its always been one of my passions. I also work on knives for forum members so some were acquired that way as payment for work on another knife or for partial payment for one of my handmade knives. Its just for fun. I am sure when I was in my youth I spent way more than what I have invested here on just my bar tab every year.:D

Need help? You're beyond help!

Let's see, I believe that I just got 2 small fixed blades this year:

AG Russell Whittler
Gene Ingram #7 Hunter

Holy @!$@! That's all! I have been reducing the number of knives that I own for the last couple of years. I mostly sold knives this year, although I'm in the process of buying a small Keith Bagley custom and I did get a nice handgun last month. However, my girlfriend STILL thinks I buy way too many knives!

Most of the knives I acquired were traded for. I got a 2 DMKnives, a Rick Hinderer via trade, oh, as well as getting another Sebbie. (I traded off the first large Sebbie I had. it was BG-42 too.) I bought 2 Calypso, Jr.'s ZDP, and a Pacific Salt .(which hasn't arrived yet.) Let me think..... Well, I bought some Striders and traded them off. Hmmmm......

My catch isnt nearly as glorius as STR's

Yeah. I understand the 'gun love thing' I think guns have always been my first love to be honest but the expense of those sends me to knives which I also love. If I were 'wicked rich' I'd have a list like that only for guns. :D

I only traded for one gun all year; a Glock 36 45 Cal. and it was an even trade at that.

OK, to the best of my recollection, these are my 2005 acquisitions:
