Forging with power??

[L6steel]

I've never heard of anyone using an electric oven to forge with. I realize the initial cost is probably the biggest reason, but say you already have an oven. Is there a reason you shouldn't forge with it???

He's been using electric for years to make billets.
He is a great guy also.
He has the most knowledge about building nickel billets in the industry.
Jim is the guy that proved that nickel could be welded to nickel. He does it every day!
