I'm sure there is a reason that the jimping on the H.E.S.T. is different sizes? Is it a wire stripper or is there some other use that I am not aware of?

The smallest notch is the CIPM standard for kindling diameter, The middle notch is the NIST standard for kindling diameter, and the largest notch is the TDA standard for the same. They doing everything bigger in Texas supposedly.

LMAO ^

Yes, from what I read on the DPx gear site they are wire strippers, looking forward to trying them out. I'm wanting a HEST II now also...

They are wire strippers and something to hold on to when things get slippery.

Thanks for the reply. I can't wait for the production version to come out. I have a plan for the jimping hole. :D
