I think I'm up to about a dozen DMC knives, I haven't kept them all though, some I have gifted away.

I gave my Boomerang with Sharp and Fiery leather sheath to my massage therapist (Fred) for Christmas, and one of my Bitty Bitey Baby Birdie to a forum member. So it would have been 18!

R&D Prevail , along with my Prevalito .


The Prevalito is my fav box cutter / slicer for small jobs , already .

My new Prevail feels like it can do heavier duty . We shall see !

I eventually was the new owner of this blade, a x slick I think. Just had a quick thought, I wonder what this style of blade would look like in a folder version? Dave, do you make folders? Just happen to think of this this morning.

Olamic makes a model that’s pretty close to that blade shape called the Swish

Coolio, I thought the lines were very clean, very nice. The blade shape sort of reminds me of a higonokami.

EDChef XL has arrived, and as usual, pictures don’t do it justice. This handle is just exquisite. As I posted in another thread, it fits right in between my DMC Santoku and 6” kitchen utility knife and is definitely going to see a lot of use. Can’t wait to tear into some veggies. Thank you again, David - outstanding as always.

Flip Point continues to impress. Mine was made to be pretty robust, by my request, and it's a tank that can slice. I think I like it better than a traditional puukko for woods use, mostly due to David's flat-vex grind and the grip. I never remember to stop to take pics in use, but when whittling this thing throws huge chips.

Just got back to the dock with several golden tilefish and red snappers!

The DMC fillet already did a snapper onboard for some sashimi
