RIP Chuck Mawhinney

I saw in a status post, cause of Death : firearm.

Wishing his family comfort and peace in this terrible time.
That may have been preferable to painful illness he couldn't recover from. Unfortunately the "health" field likes to keep people alive and billable as long as possible.
When my great grandmother was in hospice, end of life stage 4 cancer they stated they didn't want to give her more morphine because they didn't want her to get addicted.
