A longtime knifemaker, Robert seems to be unknown in the knife world. Here are two from my collection, a tanto commissioned in the honor of a fallen friend. And a scimitar-style knife in 80CrV2.

Looks great. Indeed that tanto is sweet.
Thank you and J jfk1110 Robert took time to read my friend’s bio, his contributions to society, and then proposed this blade in Vic’s honor. The hamon is beautiful, the result of hours of hand polishing the blade. Robert also cast the bronze guard and pins. It truly is a work of art. Hard to tell from the photos, the guard locks into the sheath for extra retention.

And the scimitar has an entirely different, rather primal quality. It is extremely light and sharp. His work ranges from high end to affordable. I only recently discovered him on IG and became an immediate fan.

Here’s the locking sheath which Robert made for this blade. As you can tell, he does everything with excellence.
