Dr. Who perhaps? The Doctors time machine, the Tardis...is camouflaged as an old police telephone booth from England. EVERYBODY who ever stepped foot in it always commented on it being "Bigger on the inside", which both amused and sometimes irritated the Doctor depending on which incarnation he was at the time.
