Best hatchet under or around $50

Another vote for the Vaughn SH2 Half Hatchet. Great camp hatchet with the hammer poll for pounding tent stakes or whatever. I picked one up at Home Depot for $19. I picked through 6 they had and found one with near perfect grain orientation. Made in the USA too. The only complaint (and this is real nitpicky) is it doesn’t come with any sheath. But for $19 what can you expect, right.
Excellent bang for the buck IMO.

I'm looking for a decent USA or European made hatchet for under or around $50
Cold Steel has some decent toothpick makers. Schrade's got some too.

Altho, came across a new to me maker. Ned Foss..? Thinking I may purchase one n give it look see.

Hell, I'd even run by some local flea markets, pawn shops, Goodwill's or yard sales. Folks have a tendency to unknowingly drop off a treasure....

Pawn shops for sure, a while back I picked up what looked to be a brand new, never used Fiskars for 10 bucks.
