Here’s my Sig SDFK with the crunchy VIPM. The “crunchy” means that it’s cut from the outside of the sheet so a portion of the scale will have the darker shade that was exposed to air, light, moisture, etc.

If you get the VIPM non crunchy, the whole scale will be the lighter color. With that said, over time if the knife is a user, the whole scale will turn that dark color eventually either way you go.

For comparison, the FK2 has ECAM and the color of the ECAM and crunchy layer of the VIPM is pretty close.

These are 2 of my absolute top CPK grails....😍

Swedges and awesome scales!!!

Thanks for posting them together!

CPK Team,

I’m seeing that a number of folks are interested in K20 scales. As options were limited with round 1, this is probably no surprise! Have you decided if “scale only” orders will be permitted? And if so, any chance of adding pricing for stand alone scales?

Thanks a bunch!

If it makes you feel better, you can use the K20 to chop up wood for the doghouse.

Edit by Nate: the K20 is not a wood processing tool...

Friendly reminder: if y'all wreck your sword chopping wood with it, don't say I didn't tell you so. This is a weapon, not a camping tool.
